If we listen to the Tree's,
maybe
we will understand
the language of something
Larger than ourselves.
This image is quite different from my other work, but I thought I would share its message
with everyone. It's just one of many that I captured recently on an EarthFirst project for the Redwood Forests in CA. I stayed with the tree people who are trying to protect the last of the ancient, old growths from being destroyed by loggers.
It was quite a tremendous experience, to say the least. Living within the forest, among tree's that are thousands of years old, and as tall as the Statue Of Liberty....it was honestly like a magical dream. It was harder than I ever thought to part with "tree-time," and return to the concrete jungle.
Anyhow, to keep this short, I just want to thank the trees, that let me spill my soul upon their hearts, in more ways than I could ever express........
and if anyone is interested in more information, or would like to help in any way, please let me know, and I can direct you to those that will help you in making a difference.....there are endangered forests all over the world that need to be recognized.

A lovely photo and a beautiful message! These wise ancient Beings could teach us all a thing or two if we would only listen, not to mention let them survive.
